At WindowWorks, we’re familiar with homes that have not been properly prepped for window replacements. When we see that something is off, we take some time to ensure that everything is in place for the job we’re about to execute. It doesn’t upset us, however, we also know that if customers were to take a little bit of time leading up to our arrival, it would save a lot of time in the long-run. Here are a few tips from the pros:

Make room for the crew.

Depending on large your project is, you might have anywhere from 2 to 6 technicians working on in and around your home. Clearing a path for the crew greatly diminishes the chances that any accidents will occur during the process.

Clearing out items from window areas.

This may seem like a no-brainer, but you’d be surprised how many people simply forget. We ask that our customers remove any plants or pictures they have perched on their window panes as well as clear any lamps and tables that are resting in front of the windows themselves.

Be there for us!

We’ll be there for you! We do our best to remind people of their appointments with us, but every now and again things slip through the cracks and we end up arriving at an empty house! Uh oh! Don’t get us wrong – replacing your windows is what we love to do, we just have to be in your home to get the job done!
